To keep your swimsuits in excellent condition for longer, we recommend:
- Rinse after each use : After using your swimsuit in the ocean or a chlorinated pool, rinse it immediately with cold water to remove any salt, chlorine or sunscreen residue.
- Hand wash : Hand wash your swimsuit in cold water using a mild or delicate detergent. Avoid using harsh detergents or bleaches, as they can damage the material.
- Air dry : Never use a dryer or hang your swimsuit in direct sunlight, as excessive heat can wear down the fibers and cause colors to fade. Instead, lay it flat in the shade to dry.
- Avoid wringing or twisting : Do not wring or twist your swimsuit, as this can stretch the fibers and cause them to lose their shape. Gently press out excess water with a towel.
- Limit sun and chemical exposure : Although swimsuits are designed to withstand the sun and chlorine, it is best not to expose them to these factors for long periods of time. Alternate between several suits if you use the pool or ocean frequently.
- Do not use iron or dryer : Swimsuits should not be ironed or put in the dryer. Heat can deform the fabric and damage the elastic properties.
- Avoid rough surfaces : Rough surfaces, such as rocks or pool edges, can wear down and damage the fabric of your swimsuit. If possible, use a towel or mat to sit or lie on.
Store Properly : Store your swimsuit completely dry in a cool, dry place. Avoid folding it too tightly or storing it damp, as this can cause mildew or odors.
